About Four Seas One Family:
The podcast "Four Seas One Family", along with this website, began as simple platforms where expats and those individuals who are or were thinking about becoming expats can gather, talk about and share expat experiences. The main goal is to promote the exchanges of cultural understandings and interactions through an expat experance among people regardless of location, social class, religion, politics and other, even opposing, points of views and beliefs. The website and podcast has gone through a few adaptations over the years and settled on its current present day format in July 2015.
Four Seas One Family also allows for listeners, whether or not an expat, to send in their stories about living their lives abroad. In this way a gateway can be explored to living in other nations and cultures. These interactions open insights into proving that the people of the world have a lot more in common than they think.

A few words from James:
"The main purpose of the podcast "Four Seas One Family" is to demystify things surrounding expat living and at the same time show that cultures have more in common than most people think. This should give even more reasons to why people must be more open-minded and caring towards eachother. This podcast opens a path to engagement and understanding between people of different cultural backgrounds. I am glad to see that this podcast is helping expats all over the world share their personal experiences concerning their living and working experiences outside their home nation."
James has a background working with international television news networks looking for in-depth information about events happening in Taiwan and the region.
James has also produced a videocast called Four Seas One Family (from September 2013 to October 2014) with well-known Taiwan expat radio DJ and television personality Ron Stuart. James is also fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Taiwanese talent and a Japanese recording artist making waves to enter in Hollywood. James also produces educational video programs for an English language school he owns.
James is the creator of the very first English BBS (Bulletin Board System) connected to an international network (Fido Next). He was also the first and only chairperson of the Taiwan branch of an international BBS network (GT PowerNet).
